Find Comfortable Heels and Still Be In
Style
Women love high heels. I can relate, I love them myself. But wearing heels over an 8 hour+ day
like so many career women do every day, takes its toll on your feet, just take a look a what the Washington post has to say about
it.
So how do you find comfortable heels and still be in style? The answer lies in finding comfortable
heels that fit well, offer good support and are flexible.
Here are a few helpful tips to finding just the perfect comfortable heels...
Find heels that gives your toes room to move. Pointy shoes that cramp your toes misaligns your toe joint causing
bunions. If that doesn't get your attention try looking here:

Avoid heels over 2 inches
Heels over 2 inches high puts pressure on the ball of your foot causing your toes to be squeezed causing the
hammer to affect. But the real issue is that higher heels affect your posture. High heels are a prime cause of pain
in your back. That's because your body tends to adjust your posture to compensate for a shift in your center of
gravity. You will have to bend your spine in the lower back more to keep your body in balance. This is where a lot
of back, shoulder and neck pain may comes from.
Look for flexible soles
Don't wear shoes with plastic soles. They won't flex. Shoes with flexible soles are easier on your foot, ankles
and knees. Soles made with pliable materials offer good reinforcement to the shoe. Avoid shoes with plastic soles,
they won't flex.
Buy a half size larger
Most women hate doing this but it will save your feet in the long haul. But also your feet swell and get larger
as the day progresses. If your foot has that little bit of extra space to expand in your feet will feel much better
at the end of the day. Besides, there isn't an obvious difference when wearing a shoe that is a half size bigger,
no one will know except you.
If heels are simply a must for you don't despair, wearing heels will never be the best thing for your body but
you can get close. For example Cole Haan's nike air heels are comfy. They may still be heels but they're the
closest thing to good heels for your feet.
Kenneth cole's Gentle Souls collection also offers super comfortable heels
with awesome plush insoles and deer skin lining that conforms to your feet. Another great heel that may just
be good for your feet.
