Sandals
Footwear
When it comes to sandals footwear choices
include flip-flops, gladiators, strappy, wedge, thongs, closed toe, open toe, sling backs and the list goes
on.
But I believe that finding a great looking sandal should not only be
comfortable, it should be stylish without carrying a huge price tag.
If I don't really know what I'm looking for I generally start with my old Standby,
Zappos, I think they have a super selection of Womens
Sandals in particular at super competitive prices, and I can't resist
their free shipping and returns, they just make it so easy.
When finding the right sandals it often depends on what the occasion is. For
example if you're looking for comfort Birkenstock Sandals are super big on comfort and many of the
styles are much cuter than they use to be.
If you like handmade Mexican sandals the Huarache Sandals have been popular for
actually hundreds of years. Mexican peasants and villagers wore them all the time and they've become a
popular among people all over the world. The great thing about the Huarache sandal is they form to your foot
so they're fairly comfortable the more you wear them. I had a pair about five years ago and wore them until
they flat wore out. I have to admit, they were comfy.
While we're on the topic of comfort Naot
Sandals are another extremely comfortable
sandal, they specialize in the best conforming materials
that are actually good for your feet.
Of course the most popular of all
sandals are the Flip
Flops. They're probably the cheapest sandals you can buy. They're also ultra
casual which makes them perfect summer and beach sandal, however I'm guilty of wearing them all year
round, I wear them only around the house during the winter months but they're just easy and I also live
in a warmer climate ;-)
The Espadrille Sandals are
beginning to get back a lot of the attention they lost a few years ago. They're kicky summer fashion
sandals with an upper made of fabric and a flexible sole made of rope or rubber material formed to look like
rope. They're really cute with short summer skirts. They just make for a light, cute summer
shoe.
If you've been paying attention to Hollywood these past few years you'll notice
that the Gladiator Sandals have been a pretty popular. I keep
thinking they're on their way out but they're hanging in there.
