Winter Shoe Trends
Spice up your winter wardrobe
accessories with some of the latest winter shoe trends.
- Ballerina flats- not necessarily conducive to heavy snow fall but spunky
office shoes that fit neatly into galoshes and help keep your toes warm when worn with tights. Coach just
released some great pairs of winter-wise ballerina flats that would go well with any winter
style.
- Boots- Boots are the ESSENTIAL winter shoe, every savvy shoe-a-holic show
own a pair of hot boots. The higher they go, the more they protect from the elements unless you get too
daring and try to wear suede in the snow. Uggs of all styles are currently the selling like hotcakes and
are popular to pair with curve flattering jeans. Just don’t over wear them, which can be easy due to their
comfort; but dirty Uggs are an outfit turnoff so buy a few pairs to wear with a few different
outfits.
- Galoshes- those ugly rubber things you were forced to wear as a child are
making a serious comeback for fashionable adults. Many different companies like Coach, Puma and Dior are
releasing amazing versions of the rain boot you used to dread. Paired with a classical wool skirt or trim
pair of jeans can give your outfit that flash of color we all need during the gloomy
months.
- Snowclogs- not necessarily thought of as the most fashionable of winter
wear can actually work well for a casual weekend shoe. These chunky shoes that are reminiscent of a tennis
shoe go great with casual weekend attire while allowing you to remain active when the ground is frozen.
There are a number of different style snowclogs available online through companies like Soloman Snowclogs
and Baffin.
